释义	【古今韻會舉要】〈巳〉《說文》已也。四月陽氣已出隂氣已藏萬物見成文章故已為蛇象形。徐曰：巳主蛇象蛇之變化有文章也律厯志曰已藏於巳上音以下音似。《爾雅》嵗在巳曰大荒落又上巳節名韓詩章句鄭俗以上巳溱洧兩水之上秉簡祓除沈約宋書曰魏已後但用三日不復用巳也又本韻○毛氏曰陽氣生於子終於已已者終已也象陽氣既極回復之形故又為終已字今俗以有鉤挑者為終已字無鉤挑者為辰巳字是盖未知義也○案史記巳者言陽氣之已盡也。《博雅》云已㠯也。《釋名》云已已也如出有所為畢已復還而入也是辰巳字不特書作已古亦讀如已矣之已也。
