释义	【正字通】〈蒟〉居許切。音舉。蒟子可調食蘇恭曰蒟醬生巴蜀中葉似王瓜蔓生苗為浮畱藤實似桑葚皮黑肉白漢武帝使唐蒙諭南越南越王食蒙以蒟醬曰此出番禺城下蒟醬蒟蒻分二種蒟醬猶之敗醬艸酸醬實非卽為醬也。蒟蒻卽今英霍山所食之鬼肉俗名鬼芋食之者必用灰汁同煑方成積粉如葛粉狀以辛物芼之本草別名蒻頭亦名鬼頭楊愼鄧元錫以蒟蒻為蒟醬。並非。蜀都賦先言蒟蒻茱萸後又言蒟醬流味于番禺之鄉六臣。註蒟蒻為蒟醬故楊鄧因之而誤常璩巴志蔓有辛蒟蜀志言蒟給皆蒟醬也。《說文》汎訓蒟為果。亦非。又御韻音其。義同。
