释义	【正字通】〈由〉又姓。史有由余又由吾複姓又楊慎。《丹鉛錄》曰由與農通韓詩外傳東西耕曰橫南北耕曰由呂氏春秋管子曆紀皆云堯使后稷為大由。註大由大農也。錢譜神農幣文農作由。又《類篇》曰徐云《說文》無由字惟㽕字。註木生條也。古文省𢎘作由後人因省之用為因由等字。按由之通作農甹皆無意義。或曰古農作由農譌省也。商書㽕作由㽕譌省也。《說文》甹。註引書。本作㽕必謂由與農㽕古通。誤也。舊註沿諸說附由。註非。
